or is the BSG forum more popular than ever? Every time I long on now there are 30 to 50 guests viewing forum topics.

Or is it just a lonely spam bot looking for love?

All I know is I have a hard time navigating this board.

Who is the contact for the Wednesday RPG group? Are you guys still alive? I think I've been voted off the Tuesday night island and I need to setup shop elsewhere. You guys were fun in the campaign I participated in.

Hi Pat,

I'm not really sure what happened to most of the groups. I know that the Monday night historical group migrated to a bar on Lincoln Ave, the Atlantic. The Flames of War group is at Chicagoland Games on Broadway now. It's still on Thursday nights there and is slowly reconstituting. CLG initially offered Tuesday nights but a lot of the FoWers are also heavily into other historicals and two consecutive nights of gaming probably has a serious impact at home (in my case the impact might have been a tire iron). I see a couple familiar faces playing 40K or Warhammer at CLG. There also groups there that play board games and RPG's. CLG does have regular event nights posted on their website. Maybe some others will see this and comment.

A lot of the Warmachine players play Thursday Nights and every
second Saturday is turning into their main scheduling for Warmachine
events.

Hey Patrick

Pete (No, the other Pete, Sergeant Schluck himself) here. Wednesday nights haven't really seen any action since the store closed- if you look down in the post counter, you'll see that Josh is busy until February, and everyone else has had something else to do or just hasn't been able to care.

There was a little (very little) talk about Chris running something at some point. Or else- Josh is running something Tuesdays way out in Downer's Grove, if you want to shoot him a PM.

Or if that doesn't work- I think that the support is still there for a Wednesday night game. When I spoke to Dave he told me that he's still interested in playing in something. Tom might be up for something. Haven't heard from Dan or PsychoBastard in a while- we could PM them. I'm free Wednesday nights- just working Tuesdays and Saturdays. As far as I know Chris spends most of his time goofing off. We could talk to people and see if we couldn't work something out, especially if you have a good location in mind. Let me know.

What'd you do to get kicked out of Shadowrun, anyways?

Hey Pete,

I'd be open to hosting a game on Wednesday. I'm over in Lincoln Square about three blocks from the train and on Western Ave near Montrose.

I didn't get kicked out of the game. I'm invited back.

But I really fucked up. I owe apologies to Chris, Eric, Sean and Anna. I've already apologized to Johnny and Tom. It was something stupid and it isn't embarrassing so much as I think a little distance is in order to allow some healing.

In these small intimate groups, you can just go too far, and I did.

Yeah sorry I've been a stranger, but life has been 'busy' as of late not always in a good way

I do have a game going, we've moved it to a house on Sunday nights since there is a grand total of three players and me as GM, but Tuesday nights are pretty workable, and Fair Game in Downer's Grove does usually have open tables. (Some people on the forums were talking about trying the One Ring RPG that is out as well.)

I never did actually manage to kill any of you guys in game at BSG

(current game that changed, a sniper decided to go hand to hand with a cyborg... with messy results...)

Well, no he didn't. But he did get the girl in the end.

Because she rolled critical failure on her INT check.

Yeah i am usually checking the forums, but never usually post anymore. Also been working like 5 and 6 days a week about 10 hours a day and with the 2 hours it takes to get home some nights I am tired. I have been working on some warhammer fantasy dwarf lists and also still have all my 40k stuff, D&D 3 and 3.5 and pathfinder stuff so if anyone wants a game i can try and get a day off to play. Pretty much am down for anything if I can find the time and people are willing to teach me if I don't know the game. Do feel free to keep in touch also
